Figurative Language Posters - FREE

When teaching figurative language, I find a visual really helps them understand. Here are some posters created by my artist daughter for use in your classroom. This free set includes metaphor, simile, alliteration, oxymoron, and personification. Click here or on one of the images to get to my blog and download the posters.

Aramadillo Freebies and a Sale!

I am so excited about my post for the Booking Across the USA blog hop! I was able to represent the state of Texas in a bog hop across the country! It has been so much fun to read about all the states and see all the fabulous ideas that the teachers and bloggers presented to go along with their state inspired books.
I chose two of my favortie books (I am a fiction/nonfiction pairing type of girl)!
Come by
to check out the super cute Aramdillo activity that I use with my kiddos each year to celebrate the rodeo coming into town!
In addition, I am having a sale at my TpT store! My lastest and greatest is a fun set of fonts that I have created that I think you will love! The best aprt is that they are only $3.20 and the resource will definitely keep growing....WOOHOO!!

Middle & High School French Classroom Signs

I've been a quiet contributor of Foreign Language freebies on the Free Lessons page for a while, and figure it's time to step up to the mic. I'm Tammy Aiello of the blog Teaching FSL. (That's short for French as a Second Language.) My students call me Madame Aiello, so that's become my "online teacher name".

I've recently posted a couple of printable signs for use in the French classsroom. They reflect my teaching style a little bit - high expectations, perhaps a touch of sarcasm, and a desire for continuous improvement, both in myself and my students.

Pop by my blog to download or print them if you'd like for your own classroom!

Feeling Lucky

I am feeling pretty lucky these days to have so many great people out there to chat with. To share the luck with you I thought I would start off with a freebie for Smartboard users. Click on any of the pictures to get these fun attendance pages which you can personalize for your students!

Here are 2 more of my St. Patrick's Day products. The first one is a Bingo Game that can be played with students in any grade. Included are 30 Bingo cards and all for the low price of $2. Laminate these and they will last a life time.
The second product is a set of 3 vowel sounds literacy games. These are perfect for centers in a Kindergarten or Grade 1 classroom. The three games and follow up worksheets are currently on sale for $6. Now that is a great deal:)

I hope you are finding some luck in your life these days and are searching for those treasures at the end of the rainbow.
Cheers,
